Based in Sudbury, ON, the Civil Engineer will report to the Project Manager, Engineering, and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on the review and preparation of technical deliverables for clients on Land Development and Linear Infrastructure projects. You will be part of a team that provides solutions in a diverse range of engineering, including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage, and Stormwater Management.

What You’ll Do:
As part of the TULLOCH Engineering team, you will:
 
  • Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with our Planning and Engineering teams on a variety of Land Development and Linear Infrastructure projects
  • Be responsible for the successful delivery of Civil Engineering projects including: Lot Grading Plans, Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) Developments, Site Plan Control Applications and Residential Subdivisions
  • Prepare and review technical deliverables including Stormwater Management Designs & Reports and Functional Servicing Studies
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to prepare and review detailed Engineering drawings
  • Apply technical modelling software such as Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS
  • Provide on-site technical review and general review certification when required
  • Prepare and review project cost estimates and bid documentation and perform bid evaluation
  • Coordinate project needs with the Project Manager, Discipline Manager, clients, regulatory entities, vendors, and subcontractors

Who You Are:
 
  • You have 6+ years experience working in a Civil Engineering role
  • Valid P.Eng. licence through PEO
  • You have robust knowledge in Stormwater Management, Site Servicing, and Water Resources Engineering
  • You have experience completing the Municipal Class EA Planning process
  • You have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards
  • You have strong skills with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and technical modelling software
  • You can exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectives
  • You are willing to travel periodically as needed

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering. Additionally, you should have:
